Position: Social Media Editor / Video Content Producer

Location: Taipei

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Create English social media content
• Produce short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts, and long-form videos for YouTube 
• Develop and execute video content ideas, including scripting, filming, and post-production
• Assist in managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and YouTube
• Compile and analyze social media and website performance data, and prepare reports
• Stay updated on trends, current affairs, and social media topics to generate engaging content ideas

Requirements:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
• Familiarity with social media platforms and short-form video content
• Sensitivity to online trends, viral topics, and internet culture
• Basic video editing and post-production skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Strong time management skills, high execution ability, and sense of responsibility

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience managing personal media or social media accounts (please provide portfolio or account links)
• Experience in filming, editing, and post-production
• Comfortable appearing on camera
• Experience in client communication, pitching, or brand collaborations
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Meta Insights or Google Analytics
• Interest in news, international affairs, or the media industry

Position: Writer/Reporter

We are looking for a bilingual journalist to join our team and contribute to daily news coverage of Taiwan and international events impacting the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce in-depth articles on major societal, business, and political developments in Taiwan
• Research and translate Mandarin-language news and resources into high-quality English articles

• Attend press conferences and events to provide timely and accurate reporting

   

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Experience in news reporting, preferably with English-language media
• Solid understanding of developments in Taiwan, particularly in politics and business
• Willingness to work on weekends when needed

• Experience with photography, video, or audio content production is a plus, but not required
