TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Teco Electric & Machinery announced Tuesday that it will showcase one-stop data center solutions at Data Centre World Asia 2026 in Singapore as it continues its expansion into Southeast Asia, according to a press release.
The trade show runs Tuesday to Wednesday, where Teco will showcase how it streamlines projects from construction to final acceptance tests. Teco President Stuart Kao (高飛鳶) said data centers need rapid deployment and stable power to remain competitive.
Teco will also present its electrical busways that can be customized to different data center requirements. It said its Penang plant in Malaysia can produce 400,000 meters a year, with deliveries expected this October.
Busways are modular, heavy-duty systems that house data center cable networks. The power ducts are metal-plated and insulated to prevent electrical faults.
Teco said it acquired NCL Energy and Dynaciate Engineering to serve customers with localized prefab construction and hardware setup. It plans to expand to Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
On projects in Thailand, Teco said it set up a local office to manage fiber-optic networks for US cloud service providers. It added that orders are expected later this year.
