TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Anduril Industries founder Palmer Luckey on Tuesday highlighted recent live-fire tests of the company’s Altius-600M anti-armor drones in Taiwan.
Taiwan purchased 291 Altius-600M drones, all of which have been delivered, and conducted three live-fire tests this year, per Liberty Times.
In a post on X, Luckey said it was “crazy” that China had sanctioned him as a “separatist terrorist,” but “even crazier” that so many US executives and influencers continued to promote China. He warned that those people would eventually ask, “How could anyone have predicted this outcome?” when Chinese sanctions inevitably targeted them.
In another post, Luckey highlighted Anduril material featuring new warheads, airframes, and targeting technology, Liberty Times reported. He also reposted live-fire footage and tagged Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense X account.
Luckey commented on a video showing an Altius-700 anti-armor attack drone being tested from a US Black Hawk helicopter. He suggested that the drone could next be mounted on Taiwan’s UH-60M helicopters.
