TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Three Taiwanese productions from Go Inside and Good Catch Media won all 11 of their nominations at the seventh annual ContentAsia Awards in Bangkok on Thursday, securing four gold, five silver and two bronze awards.
“Black Tide Island” took gold for Best Drama Series Made in Asia for a Single Asian Market, plus gold for supporting actor River Huang (黃河) and sound design.
“Inside the Great ATM Heist” won gold for Best Factual Program Made in Asia for a Single Asian Market. “Through the Cracks” earned silver for lead actor Aaron Don Don (洪毓璟) and bronze for Best Feature Film or Telemovie Made in Asia.
“These three productions could not be more different in subject, form or tone. Their primary languages are Hakka, Taigi and Mandarin, which makes this recognition especially meaningful,” Roger Cheng (鄭凱駿), founder and executive producer of Go Inside and Good Catch Media, told Taiwan News.
Cheng added the wins reflect his team’s ability to work across genres while staying grounded in a shared mission: telling Taiwan’s distinctive stories in ways that resonate globally.
The ContentAsia Awards drew more than 500 entries from across Asia. Over 180 programs were nominated in 35 categories, judged by more than 100 jury members from Asia and worldwide.
