TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Meta Green Cooling Technology Co. is expanding beyond liquid-cooling equipment sales to take on more system integration work for AI data centers.
The company reported cumulative revenue of NT$971 million (US$30.4 million) in the first half of this year, up 292% from the same period a year earlier. The figure has already exceeded its full-year revenue of NT$907 million last year, according to CTEE.
AI-related projects secured this year are more complex and more profitable than the system integration work Meta Green previously handled for personal computer server rooms, helping support overall earnings. Analysts expect system integration to account for a larger share of revenue than information technology equipment this year, making system integration a key driver of Meta Green's future growth.
AI data centers require more complex infrastructure than conventional facilities because high-power servers generate significantly more heat and require greater power and cooling capacity. The higher density of AI equipment can also create structural challenges, with some servers and cooling distribution units too heavy for standard floors and requiring additional steel structures to distribute the load.
Meta Green is therefore shifting more resources toward planning and executing entire data center projects instead of focusing primarily on individual cooling products. As the system integration business expands, it can also drive demand for the company's liquid-cooling equipment through internal equipment purchases.
The company is one of Taiwan's few specialized manufacturers focused primarily on liquid-cooling technology. Unlike traditional fans, liquid cooling uses water or specialized fluids to absorb heat directly from electronic components and carry it away, according to MoneyDJ and Sinotrade.
Meta Green expects customers that use cooling equipment from other brands to still require local contractors for installation, integration, and maintenance in Taiwan, creating additional demand for its system integration services.
