TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Humanoid and AI-enabled robots will take center stage at a major Taipei trade show this week, where Taiwan manufacturers will present technologies ranging from machine vision and digital twins to autonomous mobile systems.
The four-day event opens Wednesday at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center and combines the 2026 Taiwan Robotics and Intelligent Automation Show with the Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition. Together, they will feature 886 companies across 3,506 booths, per UDN.
Major Taiwan participants include HIWIN, Delta Electronics, Techman Robot, Solomon, Syntec, Swancor, Aurotek, TOYO Automation, Kao Ming Machinery, ACE Pillar, Fukuta, and GPM. Displays will include humanoid, quadruped, and collaborative robots, robotic arms, industrial computers, edge AI, smart-factory systems, and unmanned vehicles, according to the report.
Organizers have made “Human-machine collaboration, AI empowerment” the theme of this year’s event. The Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robotics Association said AI is expanding what robots can do without human intervention, with implications for both industrial production and service applications.
The show may also draw fresh attention to robotics-related shares in Taiwan following investor enthusiasm in China over humanoid robot maker Unitree Robotics’ planned listing, per CNA.
The robotics association said Taiwan’s strengths in semiconductors, ICT, precision machinery, and smart manufacturing give the sector a broad industrial base.
