TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency said it will begin accepting PX Pay at its national forest recreation areas starting Aug. 1.
Visitors will be able to purchase tickets at on-site counters using PX Pay, according to the agency. During a promotional period running through Dec. 31, visitors to 13 national forest recreation areas managed by the agency, as well as other attractions, can register for the monthly “Everyday Picks” promotion in the PX Pay app and receive 5% in reward points per transaction, with no minimum spending requirement.
Visitors who use PX Pay for the first time and complete a qualifying transaction will receive an additional 50-point bonus, the agency said. People who link PX Pay to designated partner bank accounts or credit cards can receive an extra 5% reward, bringing the total possible reward to up to 10% in points.
The agency said it has continued to promote smart tourism and digital services in recent years. Its managed sites already support a wide range of payment methods, including Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, EasyCard, iPASS, LINE Pay, E.SUN Wallet, Pi Wallet, and JKOPay.
