TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Precision metal machining company Global Tek said Monday it began mass production of AI server liquid-cooling components in July.
Speaking at an investor conference, Global Tek President and Chair Huang Ya-hsing (黃亞興) said AI server liquid cooling, humanoid robots, and aerospace will become the company’s growth drivers, per CNA. He said the automotive business remained a revenue contributor in the first half of the year.
Huang said Global Tek has secured orders from a major Japanese manufacturer for AI server liquid-cooling components, with shipments expected to contribute to revenue through 2027. The company has also won initial orders from a Chinese customer for key humanoid robot joint components.
Company executives said demand from new customers continues to support expansion into higher-value precision machining. Global Tek is also developing thermal management products for AI servers and precision components for humanoid robots while leveraging its automotive manufacturing expertise to expand into both markets.
To support future demand, Global Tek said it is expanding production in Thailand and China. Its Thailand plant entered trial operations in March and is preparing for aerospace, industrial, and automotive production, while new investments in Wuxi, Suzhou, and Xian will increase capacity for liquid-cooling fittings and heat sinks.
Global Tek reported preliminary first-half consolidated revenue of NT$2.82 billion (US$87.28 million), up 13.32% from a year earlier, per MoneyDJ. Market analysts expect the company to target a gross margin of 25% and an operating margin of 10% this year, while AI cooling systems and humanoid robot applications are projected to account for about 20% of revenue by 2027, CNA reported.
