TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Foxconn Technology will exhibit a modular data center and two EVs for its first showing at the Taiwan Expo in Tokyo, the company said Tuesday.
The July 15-17 exhibition will mark the first time the items have been on show in Japan, the company said in a statement. The exhibits reveal Foxconn’s endeavors in smart mobility and in basic AI infrastructure.
One of the cars Foxconn will show at the expo is its Model A, which can be converted into a taxi or a van to suit the needs of the operator or the city. Model B is the Foxtron Bria already available in Taiwan as an example of smart mobility for young consumers, the company said.
The modular AI data center unites systems including IT equipment, cooling, and power supply. The center is assisting businesses to rapidly establish and expand their AI capability, Foxconn said.
The Taiwanese electronics company recently focused several of its new ventures on Japan, including an electric bus project with Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Fuso Bus.
