TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Foxconn posted a record Q2 revenue of NT$2.5 trillion (US$78 billion) and expects sales to grow further into Q3.
The company said unaudited June revenue reached NT$821.8 billion, down 4.38% from May but up 52.11% year over year, per CNA. The June figure was the highest ever for that month.
Q2 revenue rose 18.02% from the previous quarter and 39.83% from a year earlier. Foxconn said AI demand drove robust growth for its cloud and networking products division, per Reuters.
For June, the components, cloud, and networking products segments were roughly flat from May. The smart consumer electronics products and computing products segments posted slight monthly declines, but all four product categories recorded strong year-over-year growth.
Revenue for the first half of the year was NT$4.6 trillion, up 34.99% from a year earlier and a record for the period.
Looking ahead, Foxconn said demand for AI server racks continues to grow, while information and communications technology products are entering their traditional peak season.
