TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan’s Thunder Tiger showcased four unmanned systems at the 2026 Taiwan Expo Europe in Warsaw as more than 100 Taiwanese firms sought to expand in the European market.
Organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council, the exhibition featured a dedicated drone pavilion with 16 Taiwanese companies. Non-Chinese supply chains and cooperation with allied partners were key selling points to European buyers, per CNA.
Thunder Tiger General Manager Gene Su (蘇聖傑) said the company presented unmanned systems covering aerial strike, counter-drone defense, long-range attack, and maritime operations, per UDN. He said the products reflected rising demand for integrated systems compatible with NATO-aligned command structures.
Among the systems displayed was the Overkill FPV attack drone, a first-person-view strike platform that has obtained US Blue UAS certification and passed testing under the Pentagon’s Drone Dominance Program, enabling precision strike missions.
The company also introduced a fiber-optic-guided FPV drone designed to resist electronic warfare, including GPS spoofing and jamming, while maintaining stable control and video transmission in contested environments.
For counter-UAS missions, Thunder Tiger presented the Overkill Interceptor, a rapid-response drone intended to neutralize incoming hostile UAVs and provide a lower-cost air defense option for frontline units.
Its PAPADELTA, or PD-136, fixed-wing drone is powered by a proprietary 250 cc gasoline engine and offers long endurance, high payload capacity, and high-speed cruising for strike, reconnaissance, and loitering missions.
The SeaShark unmanned surface vessel series integrates Shield AI’s Hivemind autonomous system, enabling intelligence, surveillance, patrol, anti-landing operations, and coordinated autonomous missions with allied forces.
Su said European customers are prioritizing systems that are non-Chinese in origin, combat-proven, and rapidly integrable into existing command networks. He said Thunder Tiger has completed international partnerships and validation to meet those requirements.
With more than 40 years of manufacturing experience and production capacity already established in Ohio, the company identified Europe as a long-term strategic market and plans deeper cooperation with Poland, Ukraine, and EU partners, per Economic Daily News.
