TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Costco Taiwan said on Friday its Kaohsiung store will move to a new location and become its largest branch nationwide.
The US warehouse club said its nearly 30-year-old Kaohsiung store will relocate from Zhonghua 5th Road to Zhike Road in Qianzhen District. The new site will have a “first-row sea view.”
The current store will remain open until 6 p.m. on July 2 before operations shift on July 3. The new location will also offer the most parking spaces of any Costco store in Taiwan.
The retailer said the new outlet will feature a more spacious shopping area and a more comfortable layout, with “more surprises to discover.” It also thanked Kaohsiung members for their long-standing support.
