TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — MSI said Thursday it expects its new RTX Spark-based products to enter mass production by the end of the third quarter.
MSI Chair Hsu Hsiang (徐祥) said at a shareholders meeting that the global DIY PC market has fallen short of expectations this year, per CNA. As a key segment for MSI, he said the company aims to maintain market share and stable gross margins while shifting growth toward AI servers, AIoT, and automotive electronics.
Hsu said MSI’s new computers powered by Nvidia’s next-generation RTX Spark AI chip remain on schedule. Spark is an Arm-based system-on-chip featuring a 20-core Grace CPU and Blackwell RTX GPU.
MSI is among the first-wave launch partners for the new platform and will introduce laptop and desktop models when production begins. The company expects the new products to support its broader push into AI-driven computing.
On overseas production, Hsu said MSI has capacity in the US, mainly handling L10 and L11 system assembly for local customers, per Anue. He said the company will continue to support customer validation and scale up production.
