TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A FamilyMart customer who spent NT$21 (66 cents) won the NT$10 million Special Prize in the latest edition of the Taiwan receipt lottery, the Ministry of Finance said Wednesday.
Sung Hsiu-ling (宋秀玲), director-general of the Finance Ministry's Taxation Administration, said there were 20 Special Prize-winning invoices and 19 NT$2 million Grand Prize-winning invoices during the March-April period, per CNA. Of the Special Prize winners, seven spent less than NT$100.
The Special Prize winner who spent the least was a customer at a FamilyMart on Keya Road in Taichung's Daya District, where they bought an oolong milk tea for NT$21. Other winners included a NT$39 purchase at another FamilyMart in Taichung’s Nantun District, a NT$40 beverage at a Hi-Life store in Taichung’s Wuqi District, and a NT$45 drink bought at a 7-Eleven in Taoyuan’s Dayuan District.
A Mos Burger in New Taipei’s Tamsui District also produced a NT$10 million winning receipt for a NT$65 beef and egg burger. Other winners included a NT$69 fuel purchase at a CPC gas station in Miaoli and a NT$70 telecom bill payment at Chunghwa Telecom in Tainan’s West Central District.
The ministry said the redemption period for winning receipts runs from June 6 to Sept. 7, 2026. Taxpayers who use electronic invoices stored on mobile devices without printing a paper copy can claim prizes via the Ministry of Finance's uniform invoice redemption app (App Store, Google Play) and have their winnings directly deposited into designated bank accounts, with stamp duty waived.
In total, 119 winners received prizes from the four major categories, including Special Prize, Grand Prize, First Prize, and the Cloud Invoice Exclusive Award, with total winnings reaching NT$270 million. Of these winners, 85 used electronic invoice storage.
The winning number for the Special Prize for the March–April edition is 19531471. The winning number for the Grand Prize is 85941329.
The winning numbers for the First Prize are 07225810, 20231230, and 83518781. If all the digits on a receipt match any of these three numbers in the right order, the prize is NT$200,000.
