TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) is set to open Computex 2026 with a GTC Taipei speech on AI computing and next-generation technology.
Computex, one of the world’s leading technology exhibitions, will begin on Tuesday. Huang will give a speech on Monday at GTC Taipei detailing AI applications in manufacturing, agency and deduction, reasoning, science, physics, and robotics, per Reuters.
Other anticipated topics include data center products such as Nvidia’s Vera Rubin AI platform, Vera central processing unit, and plans for autonomous driving and robotics, per Reuters.
Nvidia is best known for AI data centers, edge computing, robotics, and automotive technology, which all make extensive use of the company’s AI chips and graphics processing units (GPUs). Construction of Nvidia’s Taiwan headquarters is also underway and scheduled to be operational by 2030, with NT$4.7 trillion (US$149 billion) to be invested annually, per Reuters.
Huang said Taiwan is a hub for advanced processes such as wafer manufacturing, packaging, silicon photonics, and liquid cooling systems. Nvidia and its partners TSMC, Quanta, Wistron, and Foxconn will work to transform Taiwan into the AI epicenter, per CNA.
