TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) said Wednesday that the company now works with about 150 Taiwanese partners.
Huang made the remarks to media at a dinner hosted by Quanta Computer Chair Lin Pai-li (林百里), held to celebrate the companies’ long-running partnership, per CNA. He added that the second half of the year would be busy as production ramps up to record levels.
Huang explained that Nvidia’s Taiwan partner network has grown from about 10 companies in its early days to around 50 companies five years ago. He said the expansion reflects Taiwan’s importance in the AI and semiconductor ecosystem.
Asked whether Taiwanese partners could become targets of Nvidia’s next private investment or equity deals, Huang said Nvidia has already invested in many strong Taiwanese companies. He described the local ecosystem as excellent and said partnerships in Taiwan have grown significantly.
He also said Nvidia’s presence in Taiwan continues to expand through events such as Computex and its GTC conference, and suggested extending activities to southern Taiwan.
