Momentum continued in the printed circuit board sector. Wus Printed Circuit, Gold Circuit Electronics, Apex International, and Plotech all hit limit-ups.
PCBs provide the foundation for electronic components by enabling signal and current transmission through copper foil circuits. Upstream supplier Fulltech Fiber Glass rose 8.48% to NT$121.5.
The top three stocks in net selling by foreign investors were all in the memory sector, with PSMC at 49,946 lots, Nanya Technology at 33,225 lots, and Macronix International at 27,993 lots. They declined 6.25%, 8.07%, and 5.33%, respectively.
Senior analyst Chien Po-yi (簡伯儀) said the market entered a consolidation phase following Wednesday’s gain of more than 1,500 points. He noted that semiconductor and AI-related stocks continue to lead market movements and remain highly active, according to CTEE.
He added that semiconductor and AI-related stocks continued to provide support, with buying interest focused on thematic and higher-priced stocks. Small- and mid-cap stocks may still have room for gains.
