TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Feastogether has officially expanded its premium culinary portfolio with the opening of Zhiyun, a high-end teppanyaki concept located on the 45th floor of Breeze Xinyi.
Nestled in the heart of Taipei, the restaurant blends panoramic skyline views with the meticulous artistry of teppanyaki, offering an immersive escape from the metropolitan bustle.
The space centers on the poetic theme of "Blooming Moments." The interior journey begins in a tranquil hallway designed to evoke flower buds awaiting spring, leading into a dining area bathed in light that suggests a blossom in full glory.
This "slow-fermentation" aesthetic mirrors the patience required in teppanyaki, where chefs precisely balance time and heat to unlock the deepest flavors.
To mark the grand opening, Zhiyun unveiled a spring and summer menu that reinterprets seasonal vitality. The culinary team curated two distinct experiences: a 10-course surf and turf and a 12-course premium surf and turf.

Using umami as a foundation, chefs utilize seasonal ingredients and specialty sauces to create a profile of new growth through layers of subtle acidity and sweetness.
Signature dishes highlight a mastery of fire and timing. The steamed king crab leg is served with seasonal greens and a refreshing yuzu-green apple dressing, presented atop house-made bamboo charcoal breadcrumbs to evoke the image of fresh spring soil.
The live lobster is seared at high temperatures to lock in moisture, complemented by a bell pepper sauce simmered with fish bone and seasonal vegetables.
For those opting for the 12-course menu, exclusive delicacies include live abalone with a sweet corn white wine sauce and Antarctic toothfish. The toothfish is prepared using a delicate sear-and-steam technique to showcase the restaurant’s technical prowess.
The celebration extends beyond the Xinyi flagship, with Zhiyun’s Xinzhuang branch joining the festivities. Members of the "iEAT" loyalty program can redeem points for exclusive rewards, such as a complimentary seared South African abalone with the purchase of a 10-course meal.
