TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Taipei Cycle Show opened Wednesday at the Nangang Exhibition Center, bringing together 900 exhibitors occupying 3,450 booths, making it the world’s second-largest bicycle exhibition, per UDN.
Taiwan External Trade Development Council Chair Huang Chih-fang (黃志芳) said the exhibition represents the entire bicycle industry value chain, spanning complete bicycles, key components, drive systems, high-end composite materials, and electric bicycles. He said it also highlights cross-industry integration and achievements in industrial upgrading.
Huang added that bicycles are playing an increasingly important role in low-carbon urban transportation and healthy living. He said Taipei Cycle promotes cycling culture through interactive displays and experiential activities aimed at integrating cycling into daily life.
This year’s show includes around 200 international exhibitors, accounting for approximately 22% of participants. Amid global supply chain restructuring and shifting regional economic dynamics, Taipei Cycle continues to attract major brands and manufacturers from Europe, the US, and Asia, underscoring Taiwan’s strengths in high-end manufacturing, research and development, and supply chain integration.

The exhibition features four main thematic areas: Green Forward, focusing on sustainable transformation and low-carbon manufacturing; Motion Vision, providing a platform for sports technology and startup collaboration; Industry Forum, where global leaders discuss market trends and supply chain strategies; d&i Awards, judged by an international panel to recognize the year’s most innovative products and technologies
Organizers have also arranged several professional forums addressing international markets and sustainability, including sessions on market positioning in German-speaking regions and ESG-related regulatory trends.
To enhance public engagement, the exhibition features the “Cycling Paradise Taiwan” showcase, which highlights Taiwan’s transformation from a major bicycle manufacturing hub into a comprehensive cycling ecosystem integrating industry, culture, and lifestyle.
Visitors can also participate in experiential activities such as “Fantasy Ride Trials” and the “TCW Tour,” which explore cycling innovation from product design to electric mobility applications and broader industry trends.
The Taipei Cycle Show runs from Wednesday to Saturday at Nangang Exhibition Center Halls 1 and 2. The first two days are reserved for industry professionals with preregistration, while the final two days are open to the public with tickets.
