TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said Tuesday the company remains committed to long-term operations in both Taiwan and Israel amid geopolitical tensions.
As the Iran war enters its third week, Huang addressed geopolitical concerns at a Q&A session at Nvidia GTC 2026 in San Jose, per CNA. Huang said his firm employs 6,000 people in Israel and the company is concerned about their safety, though operations there remain stable.
“I'm 100% committed to Israel, where we are going to be there for a very long time," said Huang. “That is 100% also true about Taiwan.”
Huang said Nvidia has several thousand employees in Taiwan who have worked there for many years. “Our entire supply chain is there,” he said, noting that hundreds of partner companies operate in Taiwan, many of which are among the most important in the world.
He added that his main hope is for everyone to cooperate, maintain peace, keep a big-picture perspective, and stay calm. Huang said Nvidia will continue to rely on Israel’s strong industrial base and is “100% convinced and certain that the world depends on Taiwan for a very, very long time."
