TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Foxconn Chair Young Liu (劉揚偉) is leading a delegation of more than 100 executives and engineers to Nvidia GTC in San Jose, where the company is showcasing its AI technology, CNA reported Tuesday.
The company introduced for the first time a complete AI server rack solution, the Nvidia Vera Rubin NVL72, alongside systems built on Nvidia HGX and MGX platforms, covering key components such as mechanical design, cooling, and power delivery.
Foxconn said its new servers will support the latest Nvidia RTX Pro 4500 Blackwell server-grade GPUs, targeting applications in data processing, AI, imaging, and visual computing.
The company also revealed new details of an industrial humanoid robot co-developed with Nvidia. Demonstrations showed the robot performing high-precision, repetitive tasks such as pick-and-place and screw-fastening.
Foxconn said the robot is trained using real-world factory scenarios, combining simulation with on-site iteration to improve efficiency and scalability.
The company is also advancing modular data center solutions, working with partners to develop AI-ready modular and hybrid architectures to meet growing demand for high-density computing.
As an Nvidia Cloud Partner, Foxconn said its subsidiary Visionbay.ai is collaborating with Nvidia to build integrated AI deployment frameworks that combine models, platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
Foxconn added it is building more than 1 GW of AI infrastructure globally, expanding from Taiwan into international markets to support the development of sovereign AI.
In smart city applications, Foxconn said its CityGPT platform integrates with Nvidia Metropolis to support transportation and public safety. In electric vehicles, its systems incorporate the FoxBrain large language model to enhance driver-assistance technologies.
