TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwanese AI component suppliers are projecting steady growth this year as Nvidia’s new Vera Rubin platform prepares to roll out in the second half of the year, CNA reported Saturday.
Nvidia GTC will open Monday in San Jose, California, bringing together key AI component manufacturers including power supply, cooling, and server chassis producers. Delta Electronics, Asia Vital Components, and other tech players held investor briefings in recent weeks, saying operations will remain strong despite traditional seasonal slowdowns.
The Vera Rubin platform will raise AI server output voltage from 54 VDC to 800 VDC, creating a new wave in power architecture. Taiwanese power leaders Delta Electronics and Lite-On Technology will showcase 800 VDC solutions.
Delta Electronics reported a 70% profit rise last year, with EPS at NT$23.14 (US$0.72), a record high. Chair Ping Cheng (鄭平) said AI data center demand remains strong, and projects are scheduled, allowing for steady growth.
Cheng noted that unlike consumer electronics, data center construction follows planned schedules with less seasonality. He expects slightly lower revenue in Q1 due to fewer working days and steady growth in Q2.
Asia Vital Components, a leader in cooling solutions, also expects revenue and gross margins to rise quarter by quarter. Chair Chen Ching-hsing (沈慶行) said last year marked the company’s first year of liquid cooling, with adoption expected to grow this year.
Chenbro Micom will showcase rack and server structures compatible with Vera Rubin. The company reported AI and cloud infrastructure investment from end clients and expects strong quarter-by-quarter growth.
King Slide Works, a server rail leader, saw its stock value jump tenfold last year. Spokesperson Wang Chun-chiang (王俊強) said the AI sector’s growth remains robust and the company anticipates double-digit revenue growth this year.
Wang added that cloud service providers are racing to expand computing power. With the Vera Rubin platform launching this year and follow-up product adoption, the AI ecosystem is set for expansion, he said.
