TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Chunghwa Post on Tuesday released a set of two commemorative stamps honoring Taipei Dong Yuan Elementary School’s victory at the 2025 Little League World Series, per a press release.
Each stamp has a face value of NT$12 (US$0.38). The issue celebrates Taiwan’s latest championship win at the international youth baseball tournament.
Chunghwa Post Chair Wang Kuo-tsai (王國材) said at the unveiling that the issuance of the stamps was prompted by a suggestion from DPP Legislator Wu Pei-yi (吳沛憶) to President Lai Ching-te (賴清德), per UDN. Wang said the stamps commemorate an important moment in Taiwan’s sporting history.
The two stamps are themed “The Strongest Team” and “A Moment of Glory,” depicting the players’ determination and teamwork. The designs also trace Taiwan’s achievements in the Little League World Series, from its first championship in 1969 to its 18th title in 2025.

Chunghwa Post said the stamps symbolize the courage and fighting spirit of Taiwan’s young baseball players on the international stage and reflect a legacy of sustained success. It added that the issue is intended to inspire more young people to take part in baseball.
To coincide with the release, first-day covers, stamp cards, stamp protectors, and loose-leaf stamp cards were printed and made available in advance on Monday. A pre-sale first-day postmark cover and a stamp booklet will also be issued and sold on Feb. 10, the official release date.
The public can purchase the stamps at 37 designated post offices nationwide, with detailed information available on the Chunghwa Post website.
