TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — South Korea-based fried chicken chain Bhc Chicken has opened a new social-style flagship at ATT 4 FUN in Taipei’s Xinyi District.
Best known for its Bburinkle chicken featured in the hit drama “My Love from the Star,” the brand aims to redefine the “Chimeek” (chicken and beer) experience for the Gen Z market.
Compared with the brand’s initial location at the Taipei Dome, the ATT 4 FUN branch offers a significantly larger floor plan with more seating capacity. It also introduces 26 new Korean dishes, expanding the menu for local diners.
Located in Taipei’s premier shopping district, the ATT 4 FUN branch is positioned as a social hub rather than a traditional restaurant. The venue integrates Korean beauty, fashion, and music through brand collaborations.
Bhc Chicken said it maintains a rigorous preparation process, using fresh chilled meat and a two-stage frying method. The brand uses sunflower oil, consistent with its operations in South Korea, it said.

To mark the Xinyi opening, Bhc Chicken introduced a party platter. This communal dining option allows groups to select three flavors paired with signature sides such as chicken skin and fried rice cakes.
The new menu additions include items imported from Bhc Chicken’s international locations in Toronto, California, and Hong Kong.
Highlights include red king cheese kimchi fried rice, corn cheese kimchi pancakes, and royal court rice cakes.
For dessert, the restaurant debuted the salt cheese choco-monster, which combines cream cheese with bittersweet chocolate.
Opening-week promotions include “Buy One, Get One” vouchers for sharing platters for members through Feb. 12, as well as digital rewards for customers spending over NT$1,999 (US$63) later this month.
