TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A 7-Eleven customer who spent NT$23 (US$0.73) won the NT$10 million Special Prize in the latest edition of Taiwan’s receipt lottery.
On Sunday, the Ministry of Finance announced the winning numbers for the November-December lottery round. The winning numbers were 97023797 for the NT$10 million Special Prize, 00507588 for the NT$2 million Grand Prize, and 92377231, 05232592, and 78125249 for the NT$200,000 First Prize.
Three Special Prizes and two Grand Prizes were awarded this round at 7-Eleven stores, per Liberty Times. Among the Special Prize winners, the luckiest customer spent just NT$23 on instant noodles at the Jingcheng Store on Jingcheng Road in Taichung's Nantun District.
One customer at the Fushou store on Ciji Road in Hsinchu's East District purchased a bento for NT$59. Another at the Dayi store on Binhai Road in Taoyuan's Guanyin District bought a tea egg and ready-to-eat food for NT$49, and also hit the NT$10 million jackpot.
The Grand Prize winners included a customer who spent NT$116 on drinks and a pineapple bun at the Zhenyu store on Fude 1st Road in Taoyuan's Bade District. The other winner bought a newspaper for NT$20 at the Heguang Store on Heping East Road, Section 2, in Taipei's Daan District.
Three winners of the NT$1 million award for cloud invoices were also announced. The winner who spent the least, and the one who spent the most, bought an NT$1 shopping bag with their purchase at the Yizhuang Store on Guangfu Road in Yilan.
A customer at the Shengwu store on Xinsheng Street in New Taipei's Zhonghe District spent NT$35 on dessert. Another at the Hexing store on Datong Road in Kaohsiung's Luzhu District spent NT$175 on drinks and daily necessities.
