TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan High Speed Rail said revenues rose to a record NT$54.64 billion (US$1.73 billion) in 2025 and it expects employee bonuses for the year to total about seven months of pay.
The operator added the projected level, reviewed by its board, could change after audited year-end accounts are finalized, per UDN Money.
Bonuses are split into three parts, starting with a flat NT$12,000 operations incentive paid to employees on Jan. 2. The company described the amount as roughly 0.2 months of salary.
A separate year-end bonus worth 3.4 months of pay is scheduled for Feb. 6.
The remaining portion is a performance bonus, averaging 3.4 months and tied to individual evaluations and other conditions. That payment is slated for June 30.
Taiwan High Speed Rail added that 2025 revenue was up 2.75% from the previous year.
