TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – EVA Air posted its best-ever monthly consolidated revenue in December, while the full year ended as its second-best, reports said Friday.
For the final month of 2025, EVA posted NT$20.26 billion (US$6.42 billion) in revenue, with NT$12.67 billion supplied by passenger traffic and NT$5.3 billion by cargo transport. The full year brought consolidated revenue of NT$220.33 billion, the Liberty Times reported.
Demand was strong during the Christmas holiday period in North America, but also in Europe and Australia, where 90% of seats were booked, the airline said. A similar rate was achieved for Northeast Asia as the region moved from autumn into the skiing season.
Passenger traffic to Southeast Asian destinations including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore remained stable at a high level.
The period before Christmas also benefited EVA’s freight traffic, with exports of consumer electronics, clothes, AI servers, and semiconductors fueling its business during December.
