TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwanese tin products manufacturer Shenmao Technology Inc. reported record annual revenue of NT$10.59 billion (US$336.7 million) last year, a 30.7% increase from the previous year.
December revenue reached NT$1.14 billion, surpassing NT$1 billion for the first time and setting a new monthly record, up 48.4% from a year earlier. Fourth-quarter revenue totaled NT$2.93 billion, a 30.2% year-on-year increase and a quarterly high, according to CTEE.
The growth was driven by Shenmao’s strategic shift from traditional printed circuit boards and general electronic-grade tin products to semiconductor-focused solutions. These include low-temperature, high-thermal-conductivity solder paste, solder balls, and pre-shaped thermal interface materials, which help manage the rising power demands and heat generated by artificial intelligence servers and advanced chip packaging, according to Pocket Securities.
Last year, the company acquired Profound Material Technology Co., further redirecting operations and expanding production capacity.
Its Kaohsiung plant is fully operational, while the Taoyuan facility has completed cleanroom construction and installed new production lines, with full-scale production planned for the third quarter. Once production stabilizes, the semiconductor segment is expected to account for a larger portion of overall revenue.
