TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Winter gets a stylish update as Japanese outerwear brand Tatras brings its signature down jackets to Taipei.
The brand’s pop-up store at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A9, running through Jan. 16, marks its Taiwan debut and showcases selections from Tatras’ 2025 fall/winter collection. Visitors can explore 50 curated men’s and women’s styles, blending functional construction with contemporary design.
Inspired by 1970s retro sportswear, the collection mixes the structured practicality of military-style tailoring with modern graphic elements for a bold, contemporary look. Brighter shades such as blue, yellow, and green complement more subdued tones throughout the lineup.

Women’s pieces update classic outerwear silhouettes with fresh details. The men’s selection includes cotton and wool outerwear, sport-inspired nylon jackets, and performance-oriented trousers.
Standout women’s styles include the Sarma and Noko down jackets.
Sarma features a cinched waist and a detachable hood with plush fur detailing for a layered, sophisticated look. Adjustable drawstrings at the hem and soft brushed interiors combine warmth with versatile, modern styling.
The Noko jacket is a lightweight, collarless down piece designed for a sleek, contemporary look. Subtle tailoring at the waist and sleeves creates smooth, flowing lines that flatter the silhouette.
For men, highlights include the Domiziano wool down jacket and the Astoni fleece jacket.
Domiziano, one of Tatras’ signature pieces, is crafted from wool-silk blend fabric by Italy’s Loro Piana and treated for durable water resistance. The Astoni jacket is a short, stand-collar piece made from eco-friendly faux fur with a soft, rabbit-like texture, giving it a visually warm and cozy look.
Founded in Milan in 2007 by a Japanese entrepreneur, Tatras is renowned for its down jackets made with Polish goose down. The brand now operates more than 350 sales locations worldwide, including flagship stores in Tokyo and Milan.
