TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taiwan’s four major convenience store chains are ready to serve an estimated 2 million shoppers for New Year’s celebrations, with potential business reaching NT$1 billion (US$32 million).
To boost fourth-quarter revenue, the companies have implemented measures at locations near New Year’s Eve event sites, including adjusting stock levels and deploying additional staff, per CNA.
