TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Hsinchu Science Park welcomed 37 new startups this year, as it expects double-digit revenue growth for the year.
Hsinchu Science Park Director General Hu Shih-min (胡世民) said Monday that the startups will serve as growth drivers, per CNA. The park expects to draw in 30 more companies and has optimistic projections for record revenue next year, per Liberty Times.
According to park statistics, revenue in the first ten months of 2025 reached NT$1.38 trillion (US$44.05 billion), up 10.31% from the same period last year. Hu said this strong performance reflects new investment and ongoing company expansion.
The park continues to focus on integrated circuit manufacturing, including design, silicon intellectual property, and AI. Hu said ICT industries have performed strongly while the biotech sector has seen rapid growth this year.
Hu noted that in May, two Phase One standard factory buildings were completed, with current occupancy exceeding 60%. He added that the updated Phase Three factory project is expected to finish by May with 51 units already reserved.
Planning for Phase Four is underway, with construction expected to begin in 2027. Hu said that the park’s phased development supports long-term growth and attracts startups and established companies.
