TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Robust demand for AI servers pushed Quanta and Wistron to all-time monthly revenue highs in November, extending a year of growth for the two major contract manufacturers.
Quanta reported consolidated revenue of NT$192.95 billion (US$6.19 billion), up 11.4% from October and 36.5% from a year earlier, per MoneyDJ. Its January–November total reached NT$1.85 trillion, a 45.7% jump year-on-year.
The company shipped 3.5 million laptops in November, unchanged from the previous month. It reiterated earlier guidance that AI server shipments will grow by double digits in Q4, while laptop shipments will fall by a similar margin.
Wistron posted November revenue of NT$280.62 billion, rising 51.6% month-on-month and nearly 190% year-on-year, per CNA. Revenue for the first 11 months climbed to NT$1.93 trillion, more than double last year’s level.
The firm shipped 2.2 million laptops in November, up 100,000 units and ahead of expectations. It now expects only a modest 1%–3% dip in Q4 laptop shipments, revising its earlier forecast of a 5%–10% decline.
Wistron shipped 900,000 desktop PCs and 900,000 monitors, both flat from October. It expects December shipments to remain steady and for total Q4 volumes to surpass the third quarter.
The company said AI server shipments peaked in November and will ease in December, though underlying demand remains strong. Analysts say that strength could help Wistron set a new quarterly revenue record in Q4.
