TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A delegation of lawmakers led by Legislative Yuan Deputy Speaker Chiang Chi-chen (江啟臣) departed Taiwan on Sunday on a trip to visit the US and Paraguay.
The cross-party group will visit Detroit, Michigan, to attend an event organized by the North American Taiwan Chambers of Commerce Association, per CNA. The delegation will then fly to Paraguay at the invitation of the country’s Congress, where they will review a number of bilateral projects with the South American ally.
