TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taipower said Monday it will recruit over 700 employees next year across 14 categories.
Positions cover frontline roles in electrical engineering and administrative posts, per CNA. Twenty-six spots will be reserved for candidates with disabilities.
The recruitment process includes a written exam and a second round of on-site tests. Practical tests will assess technical skills and electrical operations.
New hires will undergo a one-year training and development program, starting at about NT$37,000. Qualified power technicians with relevant licenses may receive an additional salary adjustment above NT$40,000.
The company said recruitment guidelines will be released online on Dec. 24, with written exams scheduled for May 10 in Taipei, Taichung, Kaohsiung, and Hualien. Applicants should consult the official recruitment website for updates.
