TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — CHT Security on Wednesday posted record third-quarter results, with revenue hitting NT$490 million (US$15.86 million), up 6% year-on-year.
Earnings per share reached NT$8.52, and gross margin improved to 46%, according to a press release. Cumulative revenue for the first three quarters climbed 11% to NT$1.469 billion.
All three business segments — network security, professional cybersecurity services, and product sales — posted gains, led by higher-margin recurring services. Recurring revenue now accounts for 53% of total revenue, up from 47% last year, with particularly strong demand from healthcare and technology clients alongside modest growth overseas.
Network security revenue rose 15% on steady user growth, while professional services expanded 14% on rising demand for advanced protection and subscription-based offerings such as SOC and MDR. Product sales also increased, driven by orders from healthcare, energy, and government sectors.
CHT Security said tighter cybersecurity regulations, stronger supply chain standards, and the rise of generative AI have fueled enterprise and government demand. Recurring services and proprietary products such as SecuTex NP/ED and CyberEye continued to underpin performance with double-digit growth.
Looking ahead, the company plans to deepen its foothold in Taiwan while expanding into Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam. With AI and cloud-based security services driving profitability, CHT Security said it aims to become a leading cybersecurity solutions provider.
