TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Acer said Thursday all six of its major product lines expanded in September, pushing revenue to NT$29.53 billion (US$965.67 million).
The computer maker said September revenue rose 35.4% from August and 12.2% year-on-year, driven by momentum in computers, monitors, and gaming products, per Anue. Cumulative revenue for the first nine months reached NT$201.27 billion, up 1.4% from a year earlier.
Q3 revenue was NT$73.4 billion, up 10.3% from the previous quarter and 1% year-on-year, marking continued recovery in global demand for PCs and related products, per CNA.
Notebook revenue increased 10.7% year-on-year, desktop PCs surged 33.4%, monitors climbed 27.5%, Chromebooks rose 9.5%, gaming products and services soared 35.9%, and commercial systems expanded 24.5%.
Acer said its multiple business engine strategy continues to pay off, with non-PC and non-display segments contributing 28.4% of September revenue, 33.6% in Q3, and 31.8% in the first nine months of the year.
The company noted that its incubating ventures also performed strongly, led by Altos Computing, which specializes in AI servers and workstations and saw September revenue surge 60.2% from a year earlier.
