TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Starlux Airlines announced Tuesday it has launched the second phase of its codeshare partnership with Alaska Airlines, adding 12 new US destinations.
From Seattle, travelers can fly to Minneapolis, Atlanta, Tampa, Anchorage, Raleigh-Durham, Orlando, Washington Dulles, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Spokane, and Boise. From San Francisco, there is a connection to Newark, bringing Starlux’s codeshare cities to 20.
Starlux Airlines CEO Glenn Chai (翟健華) said the expansion makes the carrier’s North American network more comprehensive and enhances travel flexibility and connection efficiency. He added that the frequent-flyer partnership with Alaska Airlines allows COSMILE members to redeem their miles for Alaska flights.
Alex Judson, Alaska Airlines’ managing director of partnerships and international, said that with connections through Seattle and San Francisco, the expanded cooperation strengthens the airlines’ commitment to offering trans-Pacific travelers more choices and more convenient, higher-quality services.
Late last year, Starlux and Alaska Airlines began codeshare services to eight cities, including Salt Lake City, San Diego, Phoenix, Portland, Las Vegas, Dallas, Denver, and Austin.
Beginning Jan. 15, 2026, Starlux will launch its Phoenix route, allowing travelers to connect to more US cities via its partner American Airlines.
