TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Acer said Thursday it has moved its Pan America headquarters to Santa Clara, California, to speed up operations in the region.
The relocation took effect on Tuesday, ending nearly 40 years of operations in San Jose, per CNA. The company purchased a modern office building in 2024 to serve as the new regional hub.
The building covers about 1,290 ping (one ping equals 3.3 square meters) and is fully renovated. Acer said the move will provide employees with a modern work environment designed to boost creativity and collaboration.
Acer Chairman Jason Chen (陳俊聖) said the Santa Clara headquarters will serve as a central hub for the Americas, accelerating local market operations and strengthening cooperation with regional partners.
Acer’s Pan America team will continue managing sales, marketing, operations, product management, and administrative functions across both North and South American markets.
