TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — National Chi Nan University on Thursday signed an MOU with Indonesia’s Bina Insani University to expand higher education ties.
The agreement calls for more student exchanges, faculty exchanges, and joint academic research, per CNA.
NCNU President Wu Tung-hsing (武東星) said the number of Indonesian students studying in Taiwan has been steadily rising, making Indonesia a major international partner in Taiwan’s higher education sector. He hoped cooperation with Bina Insani University would combine the two universities’ strengths in digital technology and AI media applications to create an exchange platform.
BIU President Indra Muis said that collaborating with Taiwanese universities is a vital step toward internationalization for the school. He added that the partnership would bring mutual benefits while creating more valuable opportunities for Indonesian students to pursue further studies in Taiwan.
