TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Chunghwa Post is bringing a playful touch to mailboxes Tuesday with a new pet-themed stamp collection featuring 10 designs that showcase the charm of cats and dogs.
The stamps are based on winning entries from last year’s pet stamp contest, which invited the public to share photos of their furry companions in adorable or spirited moments. Chunghwa Post said the collection transforms these snapshots into keepsakes to be cherished.
Each stamp is valued at NT$8 (US$0.26). The collection will be sold as a small sheet and as a self-adhesive full sheet of 50.
Featured breeds include the British Shorthair, French Bulldog, Shiba Inu, Pomeranian, Ragdoll, Shetland Sheepdog, Border Collie, and Welsh Corgi.
To complement the release, Chunghwa Post will also offer first day covers, stamp-on-card sets, protective stamp cards, loose-leaf collection cards, and postcards, available starting Friday.
