TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Taipei residents got a taste of convenient protein on Sunday when W Protein hosted its first in-person event, featuring Korean cheerleader and brand ambassador Lee A-young as one-day store manager.
The W Protein lineup includes instant powders, ready-to-drink beverages, snacks, frozen dumplings, light meals, and gelato. Both whey and plant-based pea protein options are available, formulated without added flavors, colorants, creamers, or artificial sweeteners to meet different dietary preferences.
Lee greeted attendees, posed for photos, signed autographs, and shared how W Protein fits into her daily routine. She highlighted its convenience for quickly replenishing nutrients after workouts or during hectic days.
“Its simple ingredients and convenience make it a practical choice,” she said. “I hope my experience inspires others to adopt healthier habits.”
Protein is vital for muscle growth, repair, and metabolic functions. For context, one egg contains about 7 grams of protein, while a 250 ml W Protein shake provides around 21 grams — the equivalent of three eggs.
I-Mei Biomedicine, the company behind W Protein, said its collaboration with Lee aims to normalize protein supplementation in daily life and make healthier choices more accessible. The series is designed for everyday nutrition as well as pre- and post-workout supplementation, offering high-quality protein in a variety of formats.
