TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Industrial computer maker Advantech said Tuesday it will build a new headquarters in Tustin, California, set to open in Q3 2026.
The company said the project, a NT$2.94 billion (US$96.5 million) investment, will include offices, assembly lines, a warehouse, and conference center, per CNA. Advantech expects the site to boost local capacity and support future North American revenue growth beyond NT$45.7 billion.
Advantech added that construction is progressing smoothly and the new hub will play a key role in strengthening regional assembly and service operations. The company said the facility is part of its long-term growth and operational resilience strategy.
Beyond the new headquarters, Advantech is looking to deepen ties with North American clients while expanding its edge computing and AI business, per Liberty Times. The company said ongoing investments will support US operations.
Meanwhile, the company is showcasing its edge AI strategy at Automation Taipei at Nangang Exhibition Center this week. On display is the Jetson Thor robotics platform developed with Nvidia, which provides optimized solutions for smart mobility and humanoid robots.
Chang Min-chung (張敏忠), managing director and associate vice president of Asia and Intercontinental Region, said this year’s showcase will highlight real-world applications, underscoring the company’s achievements in edge AI.
