TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The Taitung County Government is launching five-day tour packages to Malaysia in cooperation with Hwafu Tourism Group and Batik Air.
The tours will begin on Dec. 30 and are expected to make travel easier for both Taitung and Malaysian tourists, CNA reported.
Taitung County Magistrate Yao Ching-ling (饒慶鈴) said that ahead of the launch, the county sent a delegation to Malaysia for exchanges and promotions with local tourism operators. An agreement on tourism cooperation was also signed to boost Taitung’s visibility in the Malaysian market, Yao said.
The county government added it will continue expanding direct flight routes to promote Taitung’s natural beauty and invite travelers to experience its slow-paced lifestyle and cultural richness.
