TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Voting got underway at 8 a.m. Saturday for recall campaigns involving 24 KMT lawmakers and suspended Hsinchu Mayor Kao Hung-an (高虹安).
The Central Election Commission reported that 5,947 polling stations have been established across nine counties and cities. Vote counting will start promptly after polls close at 4 p.m., according to CNA.
