TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – A person who spent NT$20 (67 cents) for a black tea and a milk tea at a 7-Eleven won a NT$10 million special prize in the latest edition of the Taiwan receipt lottery Friday.
The lucky winner bought the drinks at a convenience store in Yonghe, New Taipei, per CNA. The Ministry of Finance announced the winning numbers Friday for receipts issued in May and June 2025.
Three other NT$10 million prizes also went to 7-Eleven customers. The winners spent NT$53 in New Taipei’s Banqiao District, NT$65 in Longtan, Taoyuan, and NT$100 in Hsinchu City.
Rival convenience store chain Family Mart reported a customer winning NT$10 million after spending NT$45 on a coffee in Tainan’s Houbi District, per UDN. Another winner of the special prize bought alkaline ionized water for NT$190 at a Family Mart in Taichung.
All winners in the receipt lottery can claim their prizes between Aug. 6 and Nov. 5. They need to fill out the form on the back of the receipt, also known as uniform invoice and present it with their ID card at any of the four major convenience store chains, Simple Mart, PX Mart, First Commercial Bank, Chang Hwa Commercial Bank, or the Agricultural Bank of Taiwan.
