TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Array Networks said Thursday that it formed an alliance with Ali Tech and Caswell to launch Taiwan’s first cybersecurity platform integrating hardware and software.
The partnership aims to offer cost-effective, enterprise-grade protection for healthcare, education, and small and medium-sized enterprises, per CNA. Initial versions are scheduled to be released next year, per Anue.
According to a joint statement, the platform will combine Ali’s secure systems-on-a-chip, Caswell’s industrial-grade edge computing systems, and Array’s AI-powered cybersecurity software including Zero Trust Gateway and SSL VPN.
Array Networks President Huang Chien-chiao (黃建喬) said cybersecurity must begin at the hardware level. The new platform turns advanced security features into standard equipment for schools, homes, and small businesses, establishing a full protection chain from chip to system.
Ali Tech CEO Lien Chien-chin (連建欽) said the company is extending its system-on-chip expertise from multimedia into AI, voice, and smart home applications. The new cybersecurity focus positions Ali to become a key player in the Artificial Intelligence of Things ecosystem, he added.
Caswell CEO Hung Te-fu (洪德富) noted that building trusted, locally developed cybersecurity solutions strengthens Taiwan’s domestic resilience and its place in the global supply chain.
In addition to targeting the domestic market, the trio is also planning overseas expansion through Caswell’s parent company Ennoconn and Array’s international footprint, aiming at growth markets such as the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and India.
