TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — An American resident of Kaohsiung took this photo of a pink sky at sunset over the city as Typhoon Danas neared
Brian Houlihan, 43, a film producer at New Moon Studios, captured the photo with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phone. Houlihan said the photo was taken in Kaoshiung's Sanmin District on Saturday, the night before the typhoon arrived.
When asked about his inspiration for taking the photo, Houlihan said he frequently photographs from this vantage point. However, in this case, he said, “I thought the mixture of the pink sunset and incoming storm clouds was exceptionally beautiful.”
