TAIPEI (Taiwan News) – Foxtron Vehicle Technologies will launch a new car in Taiwan based on its Model B concept by the end of the year, reports said Wednesday.
The joint venture between carmaker Yulon Group and Foxconn Technology Group, the world’s largest contract electronics maker, already has one SUV on Taiwan roads, the Luxgen n7. Foxtron also turns out a large electric bus based on its Model T concept.
The Model B car has received the necessary certification from the government, so it can be sold to the public, per CNA. The company said sales would begin during the fourth quarter of 2025.
Foxtron is also developing a US version of the Model C concept the Luxgen n7 is based on. The development process is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Other vehicles the company is working on this year are the Model U medium-sized bus and the Model D utility vehicle, said Foxtron Spokesperson Wang Li-we (王理巍). He also outlined plans to build Mitsubishi Motors vehicles in Taiwan for export to Australia and New Zealand in late 2026.
