TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — The air conditioning industry is embracing a shift as consumers put more emphasis on air quality while global warming increases the need to cool indoor spaces.
Seizing upon this trend, Up Young Cornerstone Corporation has partnered with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries to unveil the first concept store focusing on custom air conditioning, Air Craft Maison.
Located in Taipei's Dazhi area on Lequn Road, the artfully designed first-floor store allows complete air-conditioning customization from spatial design, airflow, installation, and after-sales service. Each solution is tailor-made to fit the needs of each home.

Inside the soaring atrium of Air Craft Maison is an installation made from Mitsubishi's air conditioner components, a striking centerpiece symbolizing cutting-edge technology. Mitsubishi's energy-efficient cooling systems not only transform modern living but also offer a high degree of scalability and integration.
Air Craft Maison is staffed by experts familiar with the demands of the luxury industry, patiently assisting clients along the entire air-conditioning journey, from planning to installation. Consultants are fluent in English and Japanese, providing thoughtful assistance to expat clients who may struggle with language and technical barriers.
Each project starts with a project consultant who oversees the overall planning and installation before progressing to the air system designer, who tailors the optimal configuration based on the environment. And finally, the airflow specialist ensures flawless integration into the space, balancing form and function.
After the air conditioning system is implemented, an advanced record system is kept at Air Craft Maison. This facilitates after-sales service, regular maintenance, and repair, providing swift and seamless support.

Chiang Chung-Lun (江仲倫), sales director at Up Young, said Air Craft Maison raises the bar for service and customer experience. “Air conditioners are no longer just products, they are a profound expression of lifestyle and taste.”
According to Chiang, premium air-conditioning systems from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries have redefined the standards of service and experience in the industry. As post-COVID lifestyles shift and people spend more time indoors, living spaces have become increasingly important.
In response to evolving market needs, Up Young is elevating air-conditioning aesthetics and leading industry innovation. A second Air Craft Maison is already in the works and is set to open at Breeze Xinyi.
Air Craft Maison is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, and the reservation hotline is 02-8501-2210. For more information, visit the website.
