Taipei (Taiwan News) –Xuji Sunrise, a renowned Japanese buffet under Taiwan’s Feastogether Corporation (饗賓餐旅), opened its sixth branch, Sunrise Breeze, on Wednesday at Breeze Center.
The opening is not just about dining; it redefines buffet as a "food fashion" experience, all set against a breathtaking backdrop that includes iconic views of Taipei 101 from its prime window seats.
The opening has been a two-year endeavor, culminating in an expansive 346-ping (1,142 square meters) space accommodating 286 guests.
The design philosophy behind the restaurant draws inspiration from an international luxury showroom infused with the sophisticated sensibilities of Japanese high fashion. Guests can still savor the classics, from the comforting lobster pao fan and rich king crab miso soup to grilled scallops.
To commemorate this landmark grand opening, it is unveiling an enticing collection of five exclusive, limited-edition dishes:
Wagyu and cheese hamburg steak is a succulent Wagyu patty, enhanced with breadcrumbs for an even juicier texture, is topped with melted cheddar cheese.
Kyushi seafood donburi comes with plump king crab meat, shrimp, and salmon roe.
Vanilla soda jelly is a charming and nostalgic tribute to the beloved ice cream soda of Japan's Showa era. This dessert transforms soda into a translucent jelly, ingeniously aerated to mimic the effervescence of a carbonated drink.
Hazelnut chocolate mille feuille is a handcrafted puffy pastry that is a symphony of textures and flavors. Each delicate layer creates a blend of rich hazelnut and smooth chocolate that melts on the tongue.
Their peach sparkling drink is an enchanting beverage that combines fine, effervescent bubbles with the intoxicating aroma of ripe peaches.
As a special celebratory gesture for the grand opening, the buffet is also offering a commemorative "five yuan" (go-en) metal bookmark as a check-in gift for the first 3,000 guests.
In Japanese, "go-en" is a homophone for "good fortune and connection," symbolizing a beautiful blessing and a warm welcome, as the company looks forward to sharing a refined Japanese dining journey with every guest.
